About the JUPEB Programme at Alex Ekwueme University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI)
The JUPEB programme at AE-FUNAI is a ten-month intensive coaching programme specifically designed to prepare candidates for the JUPEB examinations. Successful completion of these exams guarantees direct entry admission into 200-level courses in various departments at AE-FUNAI, as well as over 60 universities in Nigeria and abroad that are affiliated with JUPEB. Since its establishment in 2014, AE-FUNAI has gained national recognition for its effective administration of the JUPEB programmes.
Eligibility and Duration of FUNAI JUPEB Admission
Eligibility: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
Duration: The programme typically spans two semesters, which amounts to approximately ten calendar months.

How to Apply for FUNAI JUPEB Admission
To apply for admission into the JUPEB programme, candidates need to follow these steps:
- Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal at www.ces.funai.edu.ng.
- On the menu bar, click on “ePortal” and select “Start Online Application” from the drop-down menu.
- Provide your email address and other necessary information to initiate your online application.
- After creating an account, log in with your Application No. and Password and complete the required processes, including entering your personal and other relevant information.
- Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) for payment. Payment can be made conveniently using a Credit/Debit Card or at any Nigerian Bank branch.
- Upon successful payment, proceed with the online application by clicking the appropriate button.
- Ensure all sections of the application form are correctly filled, and then click on “Complete Application” to submit your form to the online server. You will receive an acknowledgment from the server via email and SMS to confirm receipt of your form. It is advisable to print two colored copies of your Application Form for future reference.
General Information for FUPRE JUPEB Applicants
Prospective applicants for the 2023/2024 preliminary programme are encouraged to visit the AE-FUNAI CES Website at www.ces.funai.edu.ng for additional relevant information.
Please note the following important details:
- A recent colored passport photograph with a white background must be provided by applicants. The photograph should have been taken within the last three months and adhere to the specified guidelines. Selfies, blurred photos, and webcam images are strictly prohibited.
- Uploading incorrect bio-data and credentials will result in disqualification and forfeiture of application fees.
- Applicants should only visit the Centre for Educational Services for Registration and Screening upon receiving an official Invitation and approved Admission Letter from the Director, which will be sent via email. Therefore, it is essential to provide valid email addresses and personal telephone numbers during the application process.
- Applicants are advised to carefully read and follow the application instructions and guidelines provided. Failure to do so may negatively impact the candidate’s chances of admission.
