Ecumenical Education (IECE) Courses
Entry Requirements for NCE Regular Programmes
Candidates applying for NCE regular programmes must possess the SSCE/NECO/GCE O’Level or an equivalent certificate with a pass in five subjects, including English Language. Of these subjects, three must be credit passes obtained in one sitting, or four credits in two sittings. Additionally, two of the credits must be relevant to the course the candidate intends to study. TCII credit or merit in three subjects, with two being relevant to the candidate’s area of specialization, is also required.
JAMB Requirements
To be eligible to apply to the Institute of Ecumenical Education, candidates must score a minimum of 100 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Can I Apply If I Did Not Choose IECE?
Yes, candidates who did not initially choose IECE can still apply. However, they will need to apply online to JAMB for a change of institution. Upon the IECE’s recommendation, JAMB will allocate the candidate to the Institute.
