Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission into LAUTECH’s postgraduate programmes, applicants must meet the University Matriculation Examination (UME) requirements, as well as the specific prerequisites outlined by the respective departments. Here are the admission requirements for different programmes:
Postgraduate Diploma Programme:
Applicants should hold a B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Eng, or B.A degree with a minimum of a third-class honors in relevant disciplines. Alternatively, candidates with an HND in related disciplines and a minimum lower credit pass may also be considered. Those with an MB, BS, or DVM may apply for the Postgraduate Diploma in Biochemistry.
M.Tech/M.Sc Programme:
Along with, Candidates must possess a B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Eng, B.A, or BMLS degree with at least a Second Class Honours in the relevant discipline. Additionally, holders of a B.Pharm degree and PGD holders in relevant disciplines with a minimum score of 60% are also eligible to apply.
For admission into M.Phil and PhD programmes, applicants must have achieved a minimum score of 50% and 60%, respectively, in their Master’s Degree.
